Accelerated Nursing Program

Medicine has always been an integral part of my life. More than just a job, it is a calling for me. Accelerated nursing program is my first place priority because through this the help I give to men and women in uniform can be more qualitative and effective. My main objective is to learn everything I can from this program in order to become a real professional in what I do for people. My whole life working experiences are very relevant to the nursing profession. I served with the Army for eight years as a medical specialist. And as every person connected with the Army I know what a real discipline is. And this really helped me in my medical experience. I worked in different treatment facilities and hospitals during my duty, where my main duty was to give direct and indirect care to active duty soldiers, which was the first step to my nursing experience. I also provided treatment to the locals and soldiers in the Balkans and Africa, dealing with injuries raging from being struck by roadside mines and other hidden explosives. I was in charge of operating the evacuation and treatment section of my unit. I educated and trained soldiers in basic medical survival skills as a non commissioned officer medical supervisor.

I left service in 2003 and now I work as an administrator for the Department of Defense. My career plans deal with returning to work for the government as a nurse. I want to be of a great help to people and to serve my government in the best way I can. I know this nursing program is essential for me because it will make this goal possible. It is hard work but the future result- the knowledge I will possess is a great stimulus for me. I also know that the military is in shortage of nurses. And I would be happy to become a really professional one. An admission to the college of nursing is a unique opportunity to improve my medical skills and to make them advanced. Qualified specialists are extremely necessary in nursing and I am willing to dedicate myself to this. I think my experience connected with the knowledge I can get from the nursing program will help to make my contribution in the medical field quiet valuable. And at the same moment my personal experience can give me certain advantages and make my future nursing work more productive. This nursing program will make my work for the government reliable. Professional nursing education meats all my expectations and goals and is a way to make my government proud of me. I can really help my country through serving people, taking care of their health. That is why the main reason for me getting professional nursing education is to be claimed in the nursing field I really enjoy to work in and to meet all the requirements that can be possibly presented to me as a professional.
